Steel Tongue Drum, hand crafted by the Triple-R Workshop, Devon, UK. I do not have studio grade recording equipment, capable of capturing the exact beauty of the tone for video. I can send you a standard demo video of the drum if requested however, please message for details. I craft all of my drums with 3 main focal points. All notes must have clean, smooth tones, with zero frequency wobble.

All notes are tuned to +/- 10 cents. This is considering temperature changes that will regularly fluctuate and mildly effect the steel this is totally natural and many drum makers don't inform you of this.

2: All drums must be made from reclaimed materials. I build everything from high grade, reclaimed, recycled steel. Nothing is bought in as new. Unless art work and decoration is ordered specifically, I beautify my drums with natural methods only. They are flame treated or forge heated to create the rustic effects that both I, and my customers like.

This is very much the trade mark of what I do. The market in steel tongue drums is now full of low cost, factory made, mass produced products.

I hand make with care, attention and detail and never charge the earth for what I do. I'm happy to help in any way possible.

Forge fired and lacquered for the earthy ashen effect seen.

Slim lined with a low profile to reduce weight and overtones. Added resonance dampener in the inner centre, to further reduce overtones, enhancing resonance control.

Flats/sharps are marked with silver dots, 1,2,3,4,5 to correspond with C#, D#, F#, G#, A#. The drum is forge fired and finished in lacquer, to offer a protective coating. As hand built items, every drum is individual.

Every one is crafted to carry a beautiful tone. I also offer a replacement service, if again you don't feel the scale suits your needs.

Simply return the drum and we can discuss an alternative that will be crafted and dispatched within 14 days. I mainly supply to music shops.
